Creating depth in acrylic abstract art paintings.
Do you like this story?
The most powerful acrylic abstract technique is creating depth by adding shade to the elements or objects painted on canvas. The process is very simple, all you would need for this s a high quality acrylic paint. For this I would recommend using acrylic liquitex paint. The key in this technique is to work on still fresh paint so you got to work quickly since the acrylic dry fast. Another option would be to mix paint retardant that will prolong the drying period of the paints. You would be able to find it in any of your local art supplies stores or online stores. The first step in this process would be to paint a background using bright colors such as light green. Adding darker colors such as dark brown and black to the objects in the paintings (such as circle and frame). Working with sponge to blend the light and dark colors going away from the objects edge.
