It is very useful if you can look at any subject and able to break it down into simple geometry shapes. You can always practice it even when you are not drawing to keep your brain stimulated. Very good observation exercise for artists. It is a lot easier to draw once you observe the over all shape of the object or person you are trying to draw. I usually start of using sphere or circle as a base for character's skull, then next step would be figuring out the next geometry form to fit into the image. Or any big geometry shape you see first when you observe the subject then go from there.

Cammy was one of the four "New Challengers" introduced in the fourth Street Fighter II revision, Super Street Fighter II. In this game, Cammy is a teen-aged agent of the fictional Delta Red task force within Britain's MI6. In the Japanese version of her ending, she is revealed to have been an agent working for M. Bison in the past, but lost her memories during a past operation. Inexplicably, the American version instead reported her as a previous lover of M. Bison's, but likewise suffering from amnesia.
A younger version would be included in the crossover game X-Men vs. Street Fighter, which features Cammy as an assassin for Bison's Shadaloo organization, with her codename "Killer Bee" (and in later games described as one of the "Shadaloo Dolls"). The ending of the game alludes to Cammy's memory loss and her eventual joining of Delta Red.

As you can see in 1-3) I am just trying to build up (sketch) the overall shape of the subject (Cammy). At this point, do not worry so much about little detail, try to get the most accurate big shape of the subject you are drawing first.
4) Once you have the foundation sketch, then you can add in eyes, nose, mouth, and hair base on the construction line you already have. There are vertical line and horizontal lines to establish the facial structure as instruct on the video tutorial.

5-6) Now we can start to see her face forming in the accurate facial structure with attitude or emotion. At this point, try to get everything in place as much as possible. Drawing is more about getting your lines in the right position, not about adding more lines. Once you get your lines in the right place, you don't need much to execute a good drawing.
7-8) If you follow the instruction correctly, now you can just go ahead and draw the final darker lines over the sketch.
